Hidden Lakes is our most exclusive area, with 178 large and small resort home sites just north of the Addison Canal, nestled among beautiful lakes and surrounded by scenic nature area. A clubhouse, pool and fountain are located near the magnificent gated entry.

All RV Sites have level, concrete pads plus underground utilities, including water, 30/50 amp electricity, cable TV, telephone and sewer. Sites are generally 40' x 80', but some larger lots are available. All RV Sites are built at a 60-degree angle for ease in parking. Many sites offer extended living space, from a simple screen room and/or storage building to a site-built Florida room with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. The concept for our RV sites was to have neighbors on each side, but no site behind you, so our sites were designed to back up to the golf course, lake or nature area.

RV Port sites include a custom-built shelter for your RV, concrete pad and patio, and underground utilities including electricity, cable TV, telephone and sewer. Most ports also have screen/Florida rooms, some with kitchen, bath and laundry facilities. RV Ports offer you the protection of your RV from the elements and allow you to use your site under cover during imclement weather.

Site-built custom Resort Homes include an attached RV port with full hookups, and many also include covered or enclosed car and golf cart parking. A wide variety of floor plans offer 2 or more bedrooms, many with cathedral ceilings and lofts. These homes offer you the lifestyle of resort home living with the added bonus of having your RV parked under cover right outside your door.

Park Homes are another lifestyle available at The Great Outdoors. Besides the park home itself, many have site-built additions which provide additional living space, large porches, or extended RV parking. Most park homes come completely furnished - ready to move in! Similar in style to a "mobile" or "modular" type home, park homes are an affordable answer to resort living.

The Chalets were designed as an upgrade to our RV Ports - allowing the luxury of covered/enclosed RV parking, with the added bonus of a bedroom/bath, great room, and kitchen. Some models include a den, utility room and /or workshop. In addition, there is covered RV parking with full hookups, and an enclosed car garage. The Chalets fill the niche between an RV Port lifestyle and that of the resort home design.

True resort living is reflected in the architecture of the Florida Villas at The Great Outdoors. Offering 1-2 bedrooms, these site-built villas offer a view of the golf course, lake, or natural woodlands. These homes are desirable for owners of smaller RVs, or for those who want to live in a resort and take advantage of golf and other activities, or live near family and friends.

Our newest resale concept became a necessity when owners wanted to sell both their recreational vehicle and lot as a package deal or sold separately - whatever the case would be. The same high excellence exists as noted under RV sites and its amenities - but with an added option for those who are looking for their first RV, an upgrade to their RV, or want to consider an RV site package. This allows you to visit The Great Outdoors without having to drive your RV down each time you wish to visit!
